So far this is my favorite book by this author. I have read many of her books, but this one really hit home. The book felt very real, as all of books by this author do…but this one is one that has stuck with me. It’s about a young girl who find out she has breast cancer and her journey with this terrible disease.The story is beautifully written and really tugs at the heart strings. I know a lot of people will be able to relate to this subject. The story involves love, loss, forgiveness, and acceptance. It is one that I know I will read again.
I definitely recommend this book and it gets 5***** from this reviewer.

This read will have you understanding exactly how one feels going through this horrible diagnosis and all the things that come along with it. This author will always touch on touchy subjects in efforts to talk about things that come into our lives on a daily basis. It is raw and emotional and a great story to grasp the feelings of another on in efforts to spread the truth behind the matters at hand.
I've read lots of books from T.D. Hubbard and her stories are so emotional they leave you in tears. Against The Wind is another beautiful story from Hubbard.
The story revolves around Candice, a college student diagnosed with breast cancer and given a short amount of time to live. She returns home to spend her final days with her parents and her true love, Jessie.
I liked the romance written with Candice and Jessie, and how committed they were to each other. The disapproval from her father added more drama to this heart-wrenching story.
There were a few errors in the book, but aside from that this is a good story.
